Orak's Bathhouse
Located in the Alley district in Nedev, Orak's bathhouse provides bathing and laundry service to those who are too poor, or do not have the room for their own bathing facilities. The bathhouse is kept neat and clean by the staff who work here under Orak. There are two private bath rooms, and two communal bathrooms, one for men, and the other for women. There is always a worker in each room to see to any needs, and often there are several at a time.
A used bath costs just a copper for 15 minutes, while fresh bath water costs 3 coppers, and takes a little longer to get ready. The private baths are 5 coppers for 30 minutes, and include fresh water. Orak's does less business in the summer, as many people will go to the rivers to wash. Orak has petitioned for that to be outlawed, but that has gotten nowhere with the Baron.
Purpose / Function
The bathhouse is a place to go to get clean, and to hang out with your friends and talk, especially in the private rooms, which are more expensive, but not if you split the cost amongst several friends.
