Mushroom Men
The Mushroom Men of the Morass of Dorghulal are a race of sentient fungi. Little is known about them, and contact with them has dwindled over the years since their first encounter with Notorin Swiftarrow 24 years ago.
According to those that heard about the Mushroom Men from Notorin directly, they are a primitive race that subsists on vegetable matter and occasional small game.
The Mushroom Men do not seem to wear any clothing, nor do their encampments have any structures to protect them from the elements.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They are of various height ranging from just under 3 feet tall to well over 6 feet, although Notorin was unable to determine if the smaller members of the tribe are younglings, or just short. The Mushroom Men did not display any outward signs of gender, so it is not clear if they have different genders. There is a great variation in colorings with green and brown being the most common colors, but all colors are represented in various patterns across their bodies.
There heads and bodies also offer a vast range of diversity. The heads of the Mushroom men are shaped like the fungi that they are named after, but with a great range of shapes, from tall and conical to short and flat. Most have an extended cap around the crown of their heads with faces appearing below that. There bodies range in height, circumferance and morphology. Most have two arms and two legs, with hands and feet that appear more like pods.
Genetics and Reproduction
It is unknown how the Mushroom Men reproduce at this time.
Ecology and Habitats
The Morass of Dorghulal is a vast wetland, dottedwith small islands and very thick foliage. This dangerous location has made it difficult to find and contact the Mushroom Men.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Mushroom Men have been seen eating various plants and rotting vegetation, and on one occassion a Mushroom Man was seen consuming a dead fish. It is unclear how often they eat, and if their diet consists of any other substances.

The Mushroom Men are a primative species who appear to only be able to manufacture the simpliest of stone tools.
