Khaziram Dwarves
The Khaziram Dwarves lived in the Khaziram Mountains until about five hundred hears ago when they suddenly disappeared, spawning many stories of what happened to them as collected in The Missing Dwarves of the Khaziram Mountains.
Before they disappeared they had built dozens of strongholds, monasteries, watchtowers, and settlements in the Khaziram Mountains, almost all of which are now empty. The only remaining stronghold is located at Nirnlodir in the north-west ridge. The dwarves of Nirnlodir do not talk about what happened to their brothers, nor where they went, but they do say that when the time is right, they will return.
