East Gatehouse

The East gatehouse protects the approach to Nedev across the East Bridge. While smaller in size than the West Gatehouse, the East Gatehouse has seen more action over the years.  It has been the focus of several attacks by the Red Blade Gobbers, although the most recent was about 4 years ago.

Defenses

Without the flanking towers of the West Gatehouse, the East Gatehouse relies more on archers firing from both the arrow slits in the gatehouse, and the Watch along the adjacent walls.  The gates themselves have been reinforced over the years and repaired several times after gobber raids, but they have never been breached.
