Crafter's Guild
All of the crafters and artisans in Nedev belong to this guild. The guild works to insure that its members are taken care of and that their voices are heard by the Baron and his nobles.
Coraren Tarasbar is the current leader of the Crafter's Guild. He is also the richest member of the Guild, and a goldsmith by trade. Some grumble that he bought his way to the head of the Guild, but most acknowledge that he has been a fine representative for them.
Structure
The Guild Master or Mistress is elected by the members of the guild, and serves until their is a vote to remove them. The current Guildmaster is served by two assistants who are paid for by the Guild, but are selected by the Guild Master. All decisions are discussed and voted on by the guild, and the Guild Master represents the desires of the guild to the Baron.
Culture
More independent than the Merchant's Guild, the Crafter's are a boisterous organizations where each member feels they are just as important, if not more important than every other member. Guild meetings often last several days and well into the nights before a consensus can be formed.
Public Agenda
To improve the welfare of it's members by reducing taxes on their goods and services, and insuring security for the members.
Assets
The Crafter's Guild house rivals some of the noble's houses in it's splendor. The windows are all of stained glass, and the house is always well maintained. The Crafter's Guild is not considered as wealthy as the Merchant's Guild, but they can gather funds from members when needed.
