World's Edge University

From the quiet and looming, building high bookshelves of Luminary Lane, to the empassioned ravings of Poet's Place, the halls of World's Edge University are constantly abuzz with the sounds of practice and study.
Bellamin Jabberkinsie established World's Edge University to spread his wealth of experience, knowledge and wonder to the world, and with the help of some of the most powerful magics of ages past, lifted his living legacy into the sky, to travel the world and gather the brightest minds of every age, to cultivate the knowledges and arts, and to bring a sense of unity ot the world.

Structure

World's Edge University is the world's most prestigious academic institution, a flying school that travels the world, often making trips to the edges of the world. Originally established as a bard's college the school offers countless programs in various visual and performing arts where one can become certified as a Master of their art. This requires a student to agree to leave home for an extended period of time, and to pursue studies, complete theses and pass a number of exams.

Oversight

The University is overseen by a council of the university officers, often appointed by the Chancellor based on their academic merits. The council often convenes to make determinations regarding the selection of cirriculums available for the coming term. The Council also makes final determination regarding the possible expulsion of a student, or the awarding of any scholarships.

Instruction

University Instructors are almost exclusively made up of its alumni. They are often chosen from among the highest performing students, or from those who have contributed most to the University's growth during their time as students.
