This ancient city grew steadily up to its sudden end, but never had the explosive growth of other communities. Most of the citizens were generational members of families who had been there for centuries. Historians have even found evidence that some of the boats may have been around for centuries in some cases.

Modern Tornaton rarely gets visited by the treasure seekers. No one knows for sure, but few are inclined to believe that a fishing village buried under most of a hundred feet of water contains much of value.
