Prismore Mountain

In the central plains, the daunting spire of Prismore Mountain towers over Excabridge City. Tunnels etch their way through the crystalline mineral, Prismore, which is abundant in the core of the caves. Prismore is extremely refractive, this makes it shimmer with a rainbow of colours, making it a popular gemstone. The moonlight cascading over the mountain causes it to shoot beams of multicoloured light through the many mouths in the stone surface. These tunnels interweave and link to Excabridge Quarry, which is an extension of the trench left behind from redirecting the Aquastea river.
Despite the beauty and richness of the glistening ore at Prismore's heart, there are also tales of a monster which lives in the spire. These tales tend to serve as a warning to explore the caves after dark, and nowadays nobody seems to stress about the potential threat of such a creature living in the centre of the city. As such, sightings of any such creature are minimal, and those who claim to have seen it are accused of perpetuating the monster's myth.
