Born to the hunter clans on the outer edges of Ever'nor, Arnuriel grew up hunting and tracking prey of many sorts; as a result, his body is as strong as a coastal acona tree, and as slim as a nightsaber.

Personal history
Born before the Fall of Ever'nor, Arnuriel Hep'tari was barely an adult when his city was slaughtered by the hands of a dro'nari assault force. Hep'tari grew up with the refugees of Eer'nor in the eastern range of the Snowy Mountains now known as "Nol'dari Highlands," learning to hunt and fight from his uncle, who was later slain by another dro'nari force.
With the attacks on him and his kin, Arnuriel and many nol'dari grew to resent the dro'nari with a burning hatred whose flame was stoked in their fallen kingdom. Arnuriel, crowned King of the Nol'dari Highlands, and led his people on joining the Howling Wolves to gain further experience in fighting.
Now, Arnuriel Hep'tari is in command of the entire Howling Wolves Mercenary Guild, and rules with an iron fist.

He spent his time wandering the streets of the capital when he stumbled across the Sages Guild, a group of historians and philosophers who controlled the great Library of Aleksander. For the next decade, Arnuriel studied with the sages, offering knowledge for knowledge.
