Skrunda's Dar

A cold land where no respectable being could live for a prolonged time. A challenge made by a God, designed to challenge the toughest of warriors. Many attempt the challenge and die, many die just on the journey to the challenge. Yet the reward it carries is worth the risk for some.

Geography

A terribly cold and rocky land, with many caves, small pine forests (No one knows how they actually live there), and frozen rivers. Surrounded by huge spikes of rock pointing inward, turning this cold land into a frozen arena. Several mountains and hills are scattered about the land. There are several constructs built around the area, as puzzles for adventurers to test themselves on. Special ores can be found inside the caverns, sometimes attracting daring miners.

Fauna & Flora

Few plants grow here, most edible plants can be found inside caves, or within the forests of the land. Many poisonous plants reside in this already harsh climate. The trees are relatively normal, a few having sap with strange properties. Some animals live off these plants and trees when meat is not available.

Monsters of Ice and Snow

Trolls, giants, frost wyverns, and other manner of dangerous and icy creatures. Even other adventurers who sought to prove themselves but descended into madness. Even several times dark beings of chaos have managed to enter the snow covered lands. Usually whenever this happens an elite Dwagi Throng will enter Skrunda's Dar, and eliminate the threat. This is an especially advantageous time to rise to the challenge, as the creatures are susceptible to being tamed, in order to defeat the chaotic menace. Sometimes Dwagi and other adventurers will purposefully make a chaotic invasion in order to reap the benefits, however this must be done in moderation, for Skrunda does not take kindly to such exploitation.
