Janso Camp
The Janso elven "camp" used to be a nomadic tribe that wandered the forests. For the past 100 years, however, the Janso tribe has settled in the same place in the forest. Now the "camp" is more of a city.
Important Buildings and Monuments:
The BellTowers
The city has two belltowers in the north and south that signal times for worship at Briarstone Temple.
School
The school is a place where all Janso children go to learn to read, write, and understand the clan's history. It is one of the few public school houses in all of Samayaris.
Yoko's Forge
Yoko is a local smith who creates weapons out of steel and Horacalcum.
Tavern
A local hangout with great ale and even greater stories.
Dance Hall
The Ancestral Dance Hall is where ceremonies and rituals are held, though the "dancing" here is 18+.
Hall of the Ancestors
This is the meeting place for Janso Clan's elders to discuss direction and plans for the clan.
Briarstone Temple
The temple is the heart of the clan's daily life. Worship is held inside three times a day. The gem at the top of the temple is said to have been a gift from the Moon-God herself after the very first Janso Man, Briar Janso, lay with the goddess for 40 days and nights. The resulting flood made the Udari river, and covered the Purian wastes, later freezing. The stone is said to be "purest crystalized pleasure" of the goddess.
Demographics
The camp is made up entirely of elves and fey creatures from the Janso tribe.
Government
The tribe is lead by three elders who meet together and vote on what is best for the community.
Defences
The city is protected by stone walls on all sides and Janso men volunteer to guard the city from ages 17-40.
Infrastructure
The city is placed over an ancient spring that provides pure water to the people there.

Deposits of Horacalcum can occasionally be found bubbling up from the spring below.
