Fenrierys
The Lord of Fire
Fenrierys (pronounced Fen-ree-er-ees) is God of destruction, fire, and purification. His worshippers often perform complex fire rituals, and offer burnt sacrifices of live animals, live humans, and sometimes live infants/children. Fenrierys is thought to be angry and wrathful at the impurity of the world, and has sent fire to burn away the impurity. His fire destroys impurity and refines the pure. Worshippers perform fire rituals such as passing through fire or walking on coals in order to purify themselves. Being offered as a sacrifice is seen as a great honor, as the fires completely consume the impurities of the body and release the pure soul into the eternal fires of the cosmos. Fenrierys is often seen as an ally to Marabal and Enliel, and is occasionally paired with Gnotsis. Fenrierys is only very rarely seen to be an ally of Diatana, and the two are often thought to be enemies.
