Greenspec Mushrooms

Small white and brown mushrooms with green specs, Greenspec Mushrooms are not all that impressive. Although, they do improve the quality of life of cooks, and those who enjoy a good meal. This is Greenspec mushrooms are very spicy. They are often harvested as use in addition to other foods in meal preparation. While they can be eaten by themselves, this is uncommon due to being so spicy. They are most commonly prepared by cutting them into small stripes and fried into a dish, or diced into very small cubes and used as a garnish.

Small white and brown mushrooms with green specs gives the mushroom it's name. It is roughly 4-5 inches tall when mature, similar to many other mushroom types. The small green specs this mushroom have make it easy to identify for those who know what they are looking for.

This mushroom reproduces with the use of it's gils, dispersing spores onto the ground, and into the wind.

This mushroom can fully mature in 24-48 hours.

Ecology and Habitats

This mushroom survives in most climates. Unlike most mushrooms, this mushroom does better in heat and dry environments than most.

While these are not the most popular mushroom by any means, that does not mean there are no uses for it. Mostly harvested for trade, or use in food prep due to it's spicy quality. The Greenspec mushroom remains a staple for a lot of those attempting to have a settled lifestyle.
