Erathis' Hold
Erathis' Hold, also known as The Keep of White is the headquarters and sole fortress of The White Bands. The Keep was constructed in the early days by the founding members of the White Bands in order to house themselves and train any potential new recruits. As the White Bands grew, the need for a much larger fortress quickly became the primary focus. Because the White Bands owe no allegiance to a kingdom of mortals, Melor the Undying along with Calavast Worldshaper were able to manfiest and expand a Demiplane of their own creation.
The entry to the Fortress is located in the mountains bordering the Calemdarian Tier and the Halcyon Desert. On the Desert's side, there is a long climb to the summit of the tallest mountain, named "Silberdan's Reach" (named so after an Elven cleric who summited the mountain believing it would bring him closer to his deity, Melora, who descended and took his hand).
The entry is small, a few White Bands make their home here to safeguard the entrance to the fortress proper. Inside the mountain is a locked set of ancient oak double-doors. The Doors depict Melor receiving the commands of Erathis to safeguard the weak. Only a handful of White Bands carry the Mithral Key that unlocks this. After entering, the individual steps through a doorway to the Demiplane of Erathis' Hold.
The Demiplane is a wide open mountain range in which the entire fortress is carved deep into the highest peak. The Fortress itself houses well over 1,000 members of the White Bands along with the leadership. Erathis' Hold is also the location in which all members are recruited, trained, and eventually inducted.
