Holkas

The Holkas are large barges used on the Hawk Bane River. They are wide beamed with two rudders. The bow is a dull point while the stern is flat. They are heavier than galleys and so carry more oarsmen to offset the extra mass.

While it is possible to get a hook as to Soltice, they rarely go past Valthore. It is not possible to safely navigate the Ash river in a Holkas.
