The Siege Tower

While certainly a sight to behold, the Siege Tower is more of a local legend that gets stranger the more one learns about it. It is scaled for giants, but the stonework is clearly dwarven, and its thousands of miles from the nearest known settlement of either. I think its a joke by some god or another, why else would there be a single oak tree next to it, neatly placed to provide a sense of scale. And whats with the one gleaming panel of marble used in its construction?

Purpose / Function

Alterations

Several ladders scaled for smaller races have been brought over the years, allowing less perilous access to the second and even 3rd floors. Above that rope and grapple must be used. What, there isnt a decent source of stone or wood for hundreds of miles, if you want more ladders, YOU can lug them there.
