Town of Skogur

The town of Skogur is a modest town along a major river its major industry is forestry and farming to provide goods downriver to other towns and cities. 
Skogur is also near a large lake that connects to other nearby large lakes and Rivers. the lake closest to the town can take a month to sail across on by sailing ship.

the population of the town is mixed. the predominant races are Furbulgs, Dwarves, and Elves.  the other races are in the minority.

History

7 hundred years ago by decree of long dead and forgotten empire, the town was founded as a means of supplying lumber and ore.  over that time the town has been built and rebuilt but remains a moderate side town.  the races that were transplanted cultivated a natural affinity for nature. because of this, the forest that is harvested is also regrown with great care and efficiency
