Yaeysavo's Archive

The largest and oldest library known in the universe holds every bit of history, science and myth from or about Yaeysavo. There is a virtual copy of everything, but some special pieces are also kept in their original format, especially those that belong to the original archive, back when audio tapes were a novelty and only the highest truths and riskier lies were written. Those physical documents are kept in the original building, a classic pyramide located close to [tolltip:It was built and used by Yaey’s visitors during the colony. The locals still call it “Yaey’s station”]the first spacial station[/tooltip].   While this library has even more data than all the Community libraries together, and many visit the main building and explore its contents, The Archive’s info is not necessarily correct. The librarians will record every knowledge they find or receive, it’s not their job to judge if it’s accurate or check the author’s history. They make sure to specify the source and circumstances of every file, giving the perfect chance for researchers from this and other worlds, to do any verifications they need, and a beautifully organized system that allows them to get every related data in The Archive.   You can access the archive from any of the many Archive booths distributed all over Yaeysavo, and from what they call universal access points located in official scientific or diplomatic buildings in the other members of the Eight Worlds organization and the Community.   The servers are distributed in different locations all over Yaeysavo, for Backup and accessibility purposes, but the data is usually added from the librarians' homes or offices. Only a few towns and cities have a special office to receive information, but there is a complete directory of librarians in the Archive, detailing the best moment and place to approach them or send them information for the Archive.
The original building of The Archive is home to:
  • the first servers (still working, but not connected to the library’s network)
  • items (documents, mostly) that carry some meaning that can’t be reproduced in a virtual file
  • the main office of Data Reception
  • several Archive booths
