Gehrujsa, currently a Peacekeeper

Employee of the The Society of Enlightened Worlds

Some data from the operative's file

2 - Success
5 - Success*
6 - Casualties: 26**, Captures: 1, Fugitives:0

* Iuner rescued herself minutes before we found her. I recommend offering her a job as a Peacekeeper.
** It seems to me that most of those deaths—if not all—could and should have been avoided. As always, Gehrujsa shows the subtlety of a weapon of mass destruction. While he saved lives today (as usual) I highly recommend actions regarding his aggressive behavior.

— Excerpt from Queleb's report on Asignment 1105-256-920
I met the peacekeeper at the hall first, but I didn't ask for help because he was wearing the old [tootilp:The most vicious caste of murderers in the Eight World. Highly regarded during the Discovery Age wars, currently extinct]Slayers'[/tooltip] attire and I though he was a hired assassin.   I was on my way out, quietly, when I noticed that the slayer.... I mean, the peacekeeper, was efficiently disabling the guards, and heading to the place I had just escaped from. I put two and two together... (shrugs). I made my bet and ask for his help. Directions, mostly. I can't travel if I don't know where I am. That's when he took me with his partner... killing whoever was in the way.   The slayer isn't as good giving directions as he is killing... or as human shield. And what a human shield he is! Not a slayer, then. Tell him I'm sorry for thinking he was that.

— Queleb's assesment about Gehrujsa's

I'm not worried about the violence he constantly shows. Aggressiveness can be directed to the right goals. Whether I am the right person to do that, or not, is still to be seen.
— Excerpt of Iuner's first report as Gehrujsa's partner

Nothing has changed in the couple of weeks since Iuner wrote about him.   He is trying to like me, though. And failing, naturally. You can't like someone before you meet him.   Can you remove all those notes about excessive violence? He hits people who deserve it. And he hasn't kill anyone in years.
— Fidaki's first report as Gehrujsa's partner

Fidaki is not ready for active use of magic.

His deductive skills are not settled yet, but he's ready for investigation and diplomatic tasks.

I don't think he need to learn combat skills, but I'm not against him trying.

What Iuner was thinking when she wrote her first report about Gehrujsa
He may not be a Slayer, but I have no doubts that his fighting technique is Eight World.
But his rage doesn't fit with his skills. Has he been born in the Eight World he would have learnt to use his emotions, instead of being a slave of them. He's probably one of the displaced. Green Sea, perhaps.
There is something simply wrong about his rage, too. Not that rage is good otherwise, but... it feels fake.
What Ángel Paz thought about Gehrujsa
He's never been exactly sane, not even as a kid when he was sane enough to be reject in the eight world. Now he's as insane as them, but people can't even notice that he's from the Eight World. They would be proud now, of his lack of mercy and apparent success. Maybe it takes a mean person to recognize another.
I get it, though. He seems nice, with his full dedication to the Society and that perpetual need of saving the innocent and the weak. He has even risk his life to save some of his coworkers, and he doesn't even like them. But in him, heroism is just another compulsion.
Queleb is the only one who notices the darkness in him—when he's fighting. Iuner already suspects that he's one of the few slayers' descendants that bothered to learn their ways, but she doesn't care. She thinks the best of him.
And she's right. Of course. With age comes wisdom or whatever. If she had enough time—as he think she does—she would figure him out. But, as things are, I'll have to spoil it for them.
What Gehrujsa was thinking when he wrote his first report on Fidaki
The kid wasn't scared of a fight, he's just learning how to use his magic. I'm kind of hurt because he didn't mentioned it. Hurt. I can understand what I'm feeling this days. That's good, I guess.

He's not as good with understanding things as Iuner was. Maybe he'll get better with time. Some practice will help.

Oh, right. That silly idea he has about learning to fight. I can't imagine why; the beating part is what I do, no need of help on that field. He has even less chance on that that Iuner would have. He has a violent side she didn't have, though. Either way, I don't want him whining about it all day.
