After damaging Earth beyond repair, mankind turns to the stars in hopes of finding a new home. After generations of wondering the shrinking population finally finds a new home on the planet that had come to be known as (New Earth).   It took two hundred years for man to adapt to their new home and for their new home to adapt to them. Though they left Earth long ago their ambitions that ultimately destroyed her was brought with them. Still small in numbers their greed and drive to conquer drove them back to the stars only learning one lesson from their exile from Earth, don't destroy your home.   To accommodate they're return to the stars they genetically engineered an "expendable human" workforce to pilot their spacecrafts and space stations. First manufactured on the station called Valdian Prime. These "Valdians" permitted mankind to reach beyond the star system they now call home.   To help establish colonies on resource rich, high gravity worlds mankind turned once again to playing god and begin manufacturing another "expendable human" workforce. The first humans specifically designed for high gravity worlds came from the labs at the Thor's Anvil colony.   For a time these manufactured humans we kept under control by limiting their populations, but life always finds a way. As their populations grew they demanded rights, human rights, that were denied to them because they were viewed as property. The Terrans (descendants from the humans that left Earth) called it the Manufactured Revolt. The Valdians and Thorites called it the Genetic Division. No matter what your call it, war broke out. The only thing that stopped the mutual extinction was the Church.   A hundred fifty years has pass and the Church has continued to grow in power and influence. Even though all three races are rules by one civilian government it's the Church that pulls the strings. Now's there a new struggle. In the dark corners of stations, the back alleys of colonies, and in the engine rooms of ships rumors are whispered. The Galactic Church is hiding something, suppressing something. Information, knowledge long forgotten.
