Kingslayers

This is an empire-building campaign where you're in the control of a city and must build upon it and interact with the other factions of the world. Think of this as a Civilization\Total War type of game. Another great thing about this campaign is that you are basically a super hero (known as Barons - explained further below). Want to be someone who can bend things with your mind? Someone who is stronger than anything the world as ever seen? You can be whatever your mind can come up with.   The Baron system as described by one of the players...

You're the demigod of a certain element/idea/thing, and you have special abilities based on that. Choose an element or thing (like poison, justice, snow, thievery, outcasts, fire, swords, warfare, etc.) and come up with ideas for a passive (generally not related to combat) ability, and an ultimate ability (once per day). Just ideas, Burning will handle the in-game mechanics. It is possible for more than one baron to have the same domain, but they'd be splitting the power, which people don't like to do, so if you pick something common or really general then you might have a level 15 baron come after you to kill you before you steal too much of their power/followers. As you level up, you gain more followers, which in turn gives you more worship points, which you can use to power up your character in many ways, like gaining a random additional passive, increasing a certain stat, gaining proficiencies, etc.. Also, you'll have an "office item", which is basically the source of your power. Keep this safe/hidden, because if someone finds it, they can steal your powers and followers.
