Kingdoms of the Seven seals

Take your party to a realm where magic has been revealed to the world. In this high fantasy setting Six kingdoms reigned over the land of Nexus until the Forlorn Outbreak struck the land and the Kingdom of Tridel besieged the lands east of the Myrelands. With the outbreak of the Forlorn plague to the people of Nexus The newly found Kingdom of Tridel sought to stall the infection they performed blood sacrifices and make pacts with one of the Old Great ones to immortalize themselves hoping they could outlive the outbreak. As the plague begun to creep closer to the Kingdoms capital city the citizens seeing the power of those healed by the Great one began to doubt and eventually plot against the church and begun organizing against them on the day of the Redwater the united populace of the kingdom overthrew the church and sacrificed the clergy to inveigle the Great one into protecting them the Great one in response to this gave those under his pact Crowns made from the burnt ashes of those sacrificed to him those who followed him but swore no oaths became deformed and twisted going mad at the horrors they became afflicted with. The kingdom became a slaughterhouse soon after the king and his knights locking themselves away in his secluded keep high above the city the population of Tridel lasted days to the onslaught of the beast that began to prey upon them. The beast after reaping every drop of blood they could from those still sane enough to fight back set their hordes onto the neighboring kingdoms as the king locked in his keep became forgotten to them.
