Warpforging

The three sins of warfare

Warpforged creations are not easy to get right, since it has a penchance for accidently exploding and causing a right mess! To make the matters even worse, it also requires drastic measures to be taken in context to the usage of each object that is forged, hence why it has made the craft split into three different subcathegories.
Chaossmithing is the technique for creating weapons and tools. Often these weapons have a futuristic style, being technical tools like guns, drills, chainsaws and other objects that are more complex in use than just swinging. These tools and weapons are built to host a chaos-battery, fueled by warp energies that are around ten times more efficent than normal electricity. It can also easily be overclocked which, if severly overdone, can end up in an explosion, though if done well can increase functionality even more.
Warpforging is the technique for creating armour. Here runecrafting is always a must as the armour is linked by runic patterns into similar runic tattoo's on the wearers skin. Once worn, the user becomes one with the armour. This grants them the ability to utilize special parts of their gear, like extendable claws or shoulder cannons with their mind alone. Depending on the runes, it can also give them extra strength or increased magical pools. The negative side is, that this sort of armour is often highly unstable, unless the runes are powered by souls. A heavily damaged rune on the armour can also start to malfunction which may be fatal for both the wearer and those in their close proximity.
Warptinkering is built around creating robotical constructs or other machines by fitting normal machine with a large chaos-battery or corrupted core. This could as an example be a turret which fires purple bolts and lazerbeams of chaotical energy at enemies, or a massive robot which goes around lifting and/or breaking things, to just a highly futuristic elevator.

Utility

That warpforging is used in everything within the societies of hell, is not much of an exageration. While it makes sense for it's destructive energies to be used for weapons and warmachines, it is also used outside of warfare both in factories that refine different materials, great drills and vechiles meant to extract resources - mostly within the engines of these parts though, to even stoves for cooking.
Sometimes it's hotwired to become energy bombs as well, being a common tactic among Reapers but infiltrators of the mortal realms as well to slowly overcharge the warp energies within said tools and machines to send entire factories to pop out of existance while taking everyone and everything in a hundered meters radius away with it.

Access & Availability

The forces of hell keep the secrets behind their techinques locked up and hidden for as best they can, even though the near entierty of the infernal armies wield it, accompanied by walls, keeps and defences. Even demonic veichles work primarely on warpforged engineering.
This extensive use of it has made it quite impossible to successfully keep away from enemy factions, which has made both the subjects of warp and warpforging popular on the mortal realms of Arcathia. Especially in Peregon, this technology is researched and even reformed to more pure magitechnical sciences. Like how the crafting of arcanima custodians were inspired by warpforged machines, though arcanima is based on energies of order rather than those of chaos.

Discovery

Warpforging was discovered short after the great war between the Greydwarves and alliance of Vampyr and Devils ended. With their victory, the Greydwarves forced their way into the ranks of hell as highly reputable members, who demanded to learn more about the demons so called warp.
It didn't take long once they had learned all about this force that the Devils could share, leaving the Greydwarves to experiment and tinker with this raw chaos. From developing methodes similar to how the energies meld with a persons soul, they managed to find several ways to combine warp with tools, weapons, armour and even machinery. Soon their so called warpforging would aid their conquest against other worlds.
