Mimrin's Well

This wellspring may seem easily broken into, as nothing but it's tree visibly watches over it. Though within the nearby nature, soil and skies linger yet vengeful spirits of nature. Kept at a leash from unleashing their righteous wrath on those who would defile this sacred grove. These spirits are far from secret though, even as they can't be percieved. After all, there is a reason why the unwarp traditional shamen are feared by all demonic forces, that thread nowhere near this sacred wellspring.
History
Mimrin's Well was once called the source of knowledge, as this spring pond which lingered over a small tree was said to grant wisdom and clarity if drank from. It was further believed that this tree was dropping some form of dew into it, which had a soothing effect on body and mind, which brought negative and unecessary thoughts away while reaching into the deeper and more intelligent parts of the psyche.
These effects were more like a harmless drug, than a miracle cure or cause for power though. Anyone could drink from it to gain a bit of clarity or to simply soothe their mind in a time of need. Naturally as word spread of it's effects, it would draw people from far and wide to see if the tales were right, as well as find out what their own enlightened thoughts would be like.
Though as the source wasn't endless at all, conflict came over the greed of drinking from the spring and it didn't take long untill blood was spilled over it. An act which angered the spirits, causing the stream to dry up for a time that could have been forever. Was it not for one single Greydwarf who'd seek to commune peacefully with the elements, and strike a bargain with them.
Mimrin himself was once a simple man, though the elements were in both awe and respect for his seemingly boundless calm for reasoning and making friendly bargains. Having always tried to reason for people to keep the peace and wait their time, rather than clash over something so worthless as a few moments of brilliance, he was allowed an audience with the spirit of the tree. He'd gain the full power of the tree, though at a price that he became it's guardian. Thus he'd forever be one with the tree, though allowed to lead the regions spirits to either grant or dismiss the requests of further mortals who sought to drink from it's dews. To which he as a hermit could not say nay.
Forever from then on, Mimrin has guarded the well and it's secrets, while doing his best to aid Vithrine from where his roots forever shall be.
