Naming Traditions
Family names
As excessive users of drills, saws and syringes, the Galenvetr follow the average Greydwarven traditions when it comes to family names. They often derive from objects, tools or weapons used by their closest past ancestors which makes names such as Madsaw, Bloodneedle or Psychodrill extremely common. Now, these names might not seem like something the Galenvetr would title themselves with, nor do they as it often falls up to elders of Mimr decent to decide their names as they hold the reckords and annals of their deceased.
Culture
Shared customary codes and values
Galenvetr value little else than scientific progression. Healthy work enviroment? What is that. Breaks? No, it's just called potential malfunctions. Ethical problems with conducting experiments on live specimens? Pfft, please... just lobotomize them and they'll stop complaining. There can, is, and will be only science.
Common Etiquette rules
It is frowned on to not donate any still somewhat intact organs and bodyparts to science and research upon an untimely demise. In fact, the Galenvetr have gone so far in their obsession for science that doing anything else than progress in it's name, wether it is testing new weird weapons in the field, or inventing the toaster, is considered pure lunacy. Somehow, they can't even get their heads around why someone would do anything else than research.
Common Dress code
It's normal for Galenvetr to dress in very revealing bits and bobs of warpforged powerarmour. The reason why they're revealing is however not to draw eyes on their pretty much non existant curves, but rather for their many tubes and augmentations that have been sewn into body and skin. Due to their vast amount of cybernetic bodyparts, they most often only wear underwear, pants and a type of half-panzer that covers their breasts and sometimes chests. Leaving both back and shoulders exposed.
Art & Architecture
Due to their many schematics and blueprints, the Galenvetr have an affinity for drawing and design. Though it rarely have anything to do with beauty as much as crazy new innovations and weapons. Some of their most famed technological developments such as the pulsarm-cannon, mindcracker and shoulder-turret have detailed blueprints on their models which are in hell considered art. Even the mortal realm of Peregon have a museum dedicated to studying the contraptions made by the Galenvetr.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
There is an odd custom for each Galenvetr to store a runic memory-chip in their spines, just about by the neck. The reason given is that if something were to happen to the user, their memories would still be intact so that all their knowledge and discoveries can yet be preserved. Following this tradition, there is another one where this chip is scanned by whichever peculiar individual from the same group that gets a hand on it.
Common Taboos
Being the polar opposite of Greyhammers have caused quite an amount of conflict between the two groups. It is only due to the complications of their demonic allegiance which makes the two tolerate one another, as an internal conflict between the two could heavily weaken Vithrines defences, seeing as they are the most prominent guardians of the Sigilstone Fortress
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Due to their love to mad scientific achievements, Galenvetr seems to obsess over bodymodifications on a person. The personality doesn't mean much to most of them, unlike the size and firepower of their hands inbuilt cannon. After all, what is beauty but a complex mixture of different reactions and chemistry. Thus, the largest, most efficent and whacky modifications and augmentations of warpforging decides the laws of attraction.
Gender Ideals
Female Galenvetr seems like a rare breed to encounter, as they are firm believers that it is a womans lot to conduct research and tinkering on the horrible augmentations that they fill themselves with. Because of this, the women are given a more supportive role in their society were they also tend to repairs, healing and maintenance. Meanwhile it is the mans lot to testdrive the weapons, serve the warmachine of the demonic hordes and go out in epic explosions as their experimental bodymods suffer volatile failures.
This absolute madness have made the Galenvetr infamous both within the rest of Greydwarven society and the rest of the hells as well, since their females are at least still a bit sane in the head, technically immortal on an aging perspective and outnumber their far louder gender counterpart by twelve to one. Meanwhile, their men are known to be completely batshit crazy with a mortality rate so obnoxiously high that even though they are also warped into immortality, they still have an average lifespan around fifty or sixty years - which considering their lifestyle, is still quite impressive.
