Cioudoth

Geography

This world of hell, contary to it's name consists mainly of a large flat meadow, decorated with but a few hills and mountainranges which seem to exist to close areas off from one another. In the middle of Cioudoth reigns a large sea, followed by rivers that snake around it's widespread free landscape.

Ecosystem

Much unlike it's sibling hell Carndroth this plane has no herbivore creatures. It's animals all consist of cruel and murderous killers which hunt one another in an everlasting evolutionary game, where you either evolve to reach the top or die out, only to return in different shapes or forms to hunt again. Hence why the soil is so rich and the nature blossoms from the composed dead.

Ecosystem Cycles

Cioudoth doesn't have the normal four seasons, or rain and dry seasons either. Instead it has a trio of laws called the hybernation, breeding and murder season. Much like their names would suggest, the hybernation season has all the ravenous creatures inhabiting the world to rest for four whole months. Then comes the breeding season when they do nothing but spread their numbers and amass armies of beasts for another solid four months. Lastly comes the murder season, when the nature goes on a crazy spree which near eradicates all animals from existance, only for the cycle to begin again.

Localized Phenomena

Many of the stunningly beautiful flora fume out odd pheromones which if inhaled can drive a man and beast alike mad with envy, hatered and cases of both megalovania and a small dose of veinglory. It is believed that the blooms evolved this way to cause the animals to slaughter one another, as a source of nutrient.

History

The story of Cioudoth remains mayhap one of the most strange one, as it's the the first realm where human, elves and daemons fought side by side for the first time ever. This feat can be attributed to the faction known as the Oathbringers who were a trio of Reapers that believed dehumanizing the denizens of the hells was an act of ignorance and despair.   From four raging houses of demons, with the aid of humans and elves, they'd make a pact where they snuck into the throneroom of the smallest of these houses to eliminate their leader. Thereafter they by law of strength wrested control over the faction as they sought to free the demons from their masters chains, rather than slaughter their way to victory. Something which would come to be highly successfull.
