World Ember Pledge 2021
Help my world and my work to grow by supporting me on Ko-fi! After being a hobby of mine for long, now my creative work is my main income and mean of life!
Waaaaa, is that time of the year again, peeps! Since some years ago I think the fact that the year is to close to its end is rather depressing than exciting, but thanks to World Anvil, it is a bit less depressing than I used to think...
World Ember is my favorite challenge from this site, since last year's edition was the moment in which I began to hang out on the Discord Server and actually get involved in the community! (yes, before WE 2020, i had 1 follower, and most of stuff had 0 favorites!), so Decembers marks my anniversary of meeting my WA friends (Special mentions to the Kiosko de Paella and many more like ) and joining the community despite the fact that I joined the site on July 2020.
So, here's one more WE and one more...pledge ? (what is this, some sort of cult?) document for a challenge! Well, It is my second one (see Summer Camp 2021 Pledge) and the first one i've ever done for WE since my participation last year was...spontaneous (seriously, I didn't know I was atumatically participating until I was like at the half of the word count goal!).
There are several types of goals I want to accomplish (or at least try to) during this month!
December is for me a kinda heavy month since I enrolloed at university back in 2018 since there are many final exams and projects to be done, and there's also holiday trips and such, so I can't write 24/7. The main goal I'm aiming is, as always the minimum word count for winning the challenge: 10K words. Last year I did reach 10.27K words, so I think I could make It again. However, I won't force it, because when I lesser think about the word count, I write the most. I'm a over-worded person since I was at school, in fact my exams tend to be the longest of the class, but no one forces me to do it, I just let it flow.
Asides the traditional 10K word count Goal, another goal I'd like to accomplish before this year ends is the word count goal of my world, which I did randomly set in 100,000 words. I've never seen it as possible, but now that I see my world statistics, I'm not really far from that!
As you can see in the screenshot above, I'm at 77766 words, which is at least 2.99 times the current word count of my novel, which I want to extend to at least 40k words before next September so I can enter the novel to the Wattys.
I don't tend to do any kind of planning before this kind of events, but as I did on Summer Camp, there are speciflc things I'd like to develop since I have them pending and are important to the world or the plot of the novel. Some of those articles are stubs by the date or haven't been created yet. If can't finish these in WolrdEmber, at least I'd like to begin to write them.

Other Goals for December
- Getting rid of my pending Calculus I final exam. Personally, this one is the most important for me and will leave tons of satisfaction.
- Finish the 9th chapter of Seeking for the Lost Northern Stars and moving forward to the following ones.
- Posting at least one chapter of Seeking for the Lost Northern Stars on Wattpad and Deviant Art, In fact, working more on the novel itself.
- Writing more tales for A Demon's Howl:Folk Tales from Moskova's Lore and posting them on Wattpad.
Inspiration
As always, music, films, etc... As an extra, I got Melior64's 400 Worldbuilding Prompts set by , so it will be a nice place for taking ideas for WE or other challenges.
