Treibball

A team sport in which two teams each work to move as many balls as possible into their team's fence. Often a pair of permanent fences will be built on a dedicated Treibball field in a community park.

Execution

Eight balls are placed in the middle of the field to start, and each team works to herd as many balls as possible into their fence, while attempting to prevent the other team from doing the same.

Components and tools

Eight large balls, often made of leather and stuffed with scraps of light fabric, hair or leaves, and two fence areas which may be permanent structures on a permanent Treibball field, or lightweight wood and rope "fences" that can be stored when not in use.
