Fortitude
In all of history, there are few places more blessed and cursed than Fortitude. Home to a wonderous well that produces an endless supply of pure water and a seemingly inexhaustible mine capable of producing hundreds of pounds of diamonds per month, one would think the town is blessed by the gods. It is, but such blessings come at the curse of an endless stream of conquers and would-be treasure seekers attempting to plumb the secrets that must be hidden in a town with so much. Much of the town lies in a perpetual state of ruin, maned by prisoners sent to work the mines under the gaze of the Forsaken Wardens, black knights who control access to the town with an iron fist. The Knights answer only to their Lord, a man they call Alabaster.
Defences
A decent stone wall surrounds Fortitude providing security from raiders. Several guard towers befitting a larger town surround it at key points. These are newer than many of the structures in town and look to have been added by people more knowledge at war than you expect from a mining town.
Infrastructure
Fortitude has a diamond mine, and its operation provides for the town.
Assets
At the center of town exist a well with a series of symbols etched around its base. The symbols appear to be representative of gods from a bygone era. The well has never run out of water and is absolutely pure. Even when attempts to poison the well have been made the magic of the well keeps it safe and full.
Geography
Fortitude sits nestled west of Citadel and under the highest peak of the World Spine Mountains.
