The Sun Stone

The Sun Stone is an artefact from the Dawn Era. This stone was given a fragment of the sun god Sepikstola's divine power. With it one could harness the powers of the sun for spells or other magical devices. However it could also be misused to bring the world into eternal darkness.
It was hidden in a small grove, protected and hidden by Mystria's mists. However as the Shadowlands encroached and drove back Mystria's mist it became a small shelter of life in a barren wasteland. The grove was protected by a holy guardian who kept away the forces of the Dark Lord, but was banished while recharging after a group of heroes defeated him. At this point the Dark Lord's forces came and claimed the stone and began a ritual to bring eternal night.
However the hero's including a bearer of the Lunablade came and banished the Dark Lord, ending the rite and reclaiming the Sun Stone. Now it is protected by the Order of Owls and hidden where the forces of shadow cannot try to reclaim it.
