Kijmae’lu

The Shattered Moon

Kijmae’lu, was a goddess associated with the now shattered moon that shares her name, little is known about what her domains were. In the earliest day of the Twilight Era, she was born as one of the two Daughters of Luna along with her sister the reborn goddess Marfedivah. The two goddesses in mirroring their fallen elders created the Khenra.
It is said Kijmae’lu was filled with wanderlust and travelled from Khinarzi to visit the many planes of the Prime Material and on the plane known as Xoulia, one of the Dark Lord’s agents tricked the gods of the plane into trapping her behind a ring of Ten Suns. On this plane a hero known as Shou Yi, slew all but one of the suns and freed the young goddess.
The pair soon fell in love and upon his death the gods allowed him to be risen into a form of immortality as a new constellation in the night sky. He joined his love as they returned to their home plane but tragedy struck. Upon their return the Thirteenth Shadowmarch was raging and the Five Kingdoms were at risk. During this time the Dread Wolf Jenkalka slew both Kijmae’lu and her sister. While her sister was reborn once more as a more spectral form, Kijmae’lu remained shattered the starts of her love orbiting her broken form, as Shou Yi now stands guard over his love seeking a way to restore her to life.
