Sir Bregnar was in the battle of Stonehaven. He had led the resistance against Bauldun's forces who came through, and in the end he was asked to escort the nobles who escaped under the mountain.
Sir Bregnar was the Knight in Stonehaven who fought to his last man defending the royal families and keeping the city safe. At the final hour, the four families asked him to lead them under the mountain to safety. A group of heroes who had been in the city for a few days chose to stay and fight. When they emerged, they settled in what was once known as Onasta, Vfradthenfell, and (village to the west of Undying Tower). Sir Bregnar decided to lay low while the families he served brought men to him to train, in order to rekindle the flame of rebellion. When Bauldun caught wind of where the surviving families were hiding, he sent Aghmarra, the Sorceress, to destroy the villages and kill off the families. When defending Onasta, Sir Bregnar was captured and branded with the Mark of the Serpent and sold into slavery. He escaped the slavers and now passes his time traveling, drinking, gambling, and selling his skills of swordsmanship wherever he can. Some say he has lost the power he once had and is on the decline.
