SC 2022 Pledge
Huzzah! The Crab-Lord (Queen?) is probably going to do this competition. Hopefully I don't burn out too bad this year. Don't think it will be 2020 burnout bad so yay?
Challenge Goal
Diamond. Well hopefully. Low goal is silver, however. I am really competitive when it comes to this sort of thing. I am going to try and write more than 300 for the prompts, especially the culture-related ones because come on.Creative Goal
I don't really have a creative goal this year. I just want to get writing done because maybe it will stop my brain from panicking about writing so often. Well I honestly don't really understand all this creative goal stuff entirely. Though, I am excited for the Leadership batch because Expanse may mean more geography to be written and after my river's article no. Monsturous does seem at least reltiavtely fun. I have no comment for Discovery as a theme.Motivation
Summercamp is the only way things get done, it seems with me. Does anyone else have a fear of filling articles in, or is that just a me thing? I don't really know what my motivation is.Themes In detail
Expanse
The new age of famous Captains chasing stupid glory makes the esteemed author ill. Where is the integrity which lies in leaders and explorers past? Venuturing to meet with savages just for the glory. Luckily such fools are left with the Zhyolka Fever. Shows you that the Gods still understand justice.
As I am not fond of touching geography when worldbuilding lest strictly necessary, I am hoping the expanse prompts also include religious expanse. But since they will definetely cover geography, I do have the central steppe of the continent to write about. Or as I have alluded to with my quote, the east of the continent will get some fleshing out.
Leadership
Leader is such a versatile word, so imprecise. Perhaps that is why, Yuth, I hate it with all of my heart. One world could refer to the Dvuu or the little men who lead a households. I myself could be considered a leader of sorts, even if I don't consider myself one for I am your esteemed husband, leader of a family and a leader of thought.
This is the set of prompts I am most delighted with and excited for. Personally, since my goals are very loose for what I want to do with both this world in general and summercamp in specifics, I am a little lost. Although my article on Engwa Hodenay will probably get re-worked .
Your River article was perfect for your interests and style. Who needs geography when you have all the cultural impacts and a good myth! Want to do daily check-in? "Crab Queen what domain will you be leveling today?" Hmm. Fear of filling articles in, that is a tough one. Is it there seems like lot of choices to make? Or ideas get left behind when you start writing? You could do another article so heading one direction doesn't eliminate the others. Be where you are at in the moment?
