On the continent of Kanada, trouble brews as the turning of the century approach.
On the northern frozen tundras, the Usurian Empire rises from the icy wastes, led by the newly crowned emperor in their dream of conquest. To the south, the great Shifting Desert stirs as war brews between its two cities, clerics and agents of the divine disappearing overnight, never to be seen again. Along the coasts to the great East, the prolonged conflict threatens to set ablaze to the kingdoms, rebellions and cut-throat secret dealings escalating until an intervention is found.
Now is the time when a change occurs. Strife, violence, uncertainty — this is now the reality of the world everywhere. In such a mad, mad world, you must find your place, or perish under the rule of those around you...
