    Birth of the First Tree
    Era beginning/end

In the beginning, as it were, there was a seed. This seed grew for many millennia into a great tree. This tree, The First Tree, produced six seeds, each of which became a god.   First, Abuno, the Being of Life who was, itself, a great tree. (Bumers)   Second, Mimu, the Being of Reception, who was a creature of the water. (Sirens)   Third, Kami, the Being of Will, who was a lizard with power over fire and sky. (Wyverns)   Fourth, Skumas, the Being of Inquisitiveness, who was a rodent with mastery of the mind. (Skee)   Fifth, Druko, the Being of Protection, who embraced all shapes as they found useful. (Druants)   Finally, Mykel, the Being of Death, who returned souls to the Tree to be reborn. (Mysums)

As the First Tree died, they asked their children, the Beings, to take care of the forest. The Beings tried, but their desire for bigger, larger, greater things eventually could no longer be supported by the First Trees corpse, and the forest began to die. Ashamed, the Beings retreated and left Kelunbar to its own devices.
