Morrighan, Goddess of Luck
Holy Symbol:
Alignment: NN
Domains: Luck
Favored Weapon: Light Blades
Favorite Race: All
Favored Class: Rogues favor her, but she Favors all
Background Story:
Morrighan had been revered as the Goddess by Rouges and other trickster’s much before any sort of “shrine” or “temple” had been created. Lady Luck had brought the coin of fate to many battle fields, dungeons, shops, and other places where people have been dependent on luck and skill. The Goddess of Luck works subtly, slowly leading people to their fated ends, and flipping the tides of their new beginnings. She works closely with the Goddess of Love and Fortune because she believes luck in love and fortune can be very tricky, and can lead to many different outcomes if done incorrectly; she also works with the other Gods/Goddesses, but usually not directly because she feels as though if she were to lean towards any sort of deity her judgement would be clouded by said deities ambitions. Lady Luck considers herself to be a minor deity for she doesn’t own any plane, or any type of element, but only owns the idea of “fate” because of this she is very humble, and allows anyone to pray to her.
Though the Goddess of Luck grants her followers, and non-followers luck and fortune, she believes that those who put in hard work can shape their own future, thus, control their own luck, or at least, have a bit more power over their own luck. She believes that this is the true path to enlightenment when under her worship, and can lead to the most fruitful fated end. She treats these hard workers with a calmer hand than others who merely wish to receive without putting in effort.
Achievements: She works indirectly, so her achievements are unknown to people of the realm.
Worshipping: Worshipping for the Goddess of Luck is done by simply thanking her and praying to her when receiving or wishing to receive good fortune.
