Background Story:
Her parents are Urtha, the Earth Goddess, and Bomba, the Plant God – together they are known as the Eichel family or triad and are worshipped together by the Order of Eichel. She is a beloved only daughter of the eternal marriage. You may imagine her as a trifle spoiled.
The country people believe that she will smite landowners or royals, or other religious orders, that take too much of a tithe or taxes from working countryfolk, leaving them without enough food and seed for the next season. When the offenders become ill or die it is said that they were “cut down by the scythe of Burtha”.
Achievements: Every year, she feeds all the people. That she thinks deserves it.

Many country people say a short prayer of thanks to Urtha for the bounty of the harvest before sitting down to supper.
Omens and Signs:
A bad harvest is a clear sign that you have done something to displease Burtha.
An exceptionally large specimen of any fruit or vegetable is a sign of blessings from Burtha.
Fruit or vegetables that ripen early are a sign of Burtha’s blessings.
The shape of gourds or other vegetables can sometimes suggest various things – it is best to have a Monk interpet them.
