Minor gods and goddesses

Ariadne

  • Neutral
  • Goddess of Knowledge, Chronicler of the Realms, Protector of the Stars
  • Symbol: Three Stars connecting
  • Domain: Knowledge
  • Ariadne has existed as long as history has. In her neverending realm she sits and chronicles everything that happens in any of the realms. Those that seek to acquire, keep, and protect knowledge, have earned her blessing. It is rumoured that she sits among the stars, using them to file away her vast knowledge.

Althane

  • Chaotic Good
  • Gathea's sister, Goddess of Fortune
  • Symbol: Coin
  • Domain: Tempest, Trickery
  • Althane has been popular with a lot of different people, from peasants to thieves and Queens. She rarely shows her favour in flashy ways, rather giving those that she deems interesting or worthy just a bit of luck in situations where it counts. She is older than her sister Gathea, and more famous, though her power over lightning is somewhat weaker than that of her sister's. The two of them have a rather playful rivalry going, that can change to outright war every other century.

Ebrietas

  • Neutral Good
  • The cosmos itself birthed Ebrietas, an Eldritch Creature that would seem repellent to most. All on her own, the first emotion she felt was loneliness. Until Ariadne took her into her arms, and brought her to her realm, where she grew and learned from all the knowledge her mother had collected. When old enough, Ebrietas looked to other realms, finding she could travel and contact those that felt lonely.

Eibhleann

  • Neutral
  • Symbol: 7 pointed star
  • Pronounciation: "Ave Linn"
  • The Goddess of Magic, Magic Incarnate, Magic Itself. She was birthed from the believe of the gods themselves, the people, and the magic that is everywhere in Kathuraz. She rarely takes a physical form, preferring to contact beings through other means. She is neither good or evil, she simply is.

Gathea

  • Chaotic Neutral
  • Althane's sister, Goddess of Storms, Thunder & Lightning, Mischief
  • Symbol: Lightning Bolt
  • Domain: Tempest, Trickery
  • Gathea is part of nature as much as she is part of the people, her storms can change the skies and her mischief can change the course of history. Like her sister she does not favor good or evil, and is rather happy to entertain herself when she sees fit. The two have a playful rivalry that hasn't escalated into anything bigger in centuries.

Iade

  • Neutral
  • Death. Valgyrn's right hand, leading the dead to the Beyond
  • Symbol: Scythe
  • Domain: Death
  • Standing as an opposite to Lava'zia, Iade has been created by Valgyrn to help shepherd the souls of the dead to the Beyond. A responsibility they take quite seriously. Whenever they find someone interesting or especially good or evil, they take some kind of trinket and bind it to their staff or their robe. Therefore they make a somewhat interesting figure to those that see them. But their gentle voice and warm touch are rumoured to be comforting.

Karitha

  • Neutral Evil
  • Goddess of the Darkness that lives inside us all
  • Symbol: Dark Circle
  • Domain: Death, Trickery
  • Just as there is good in everyone, Shah believes that there is evil inside every heart as well. She enjoys encouraging that kind of evil and bringing it out in people, making them stronger and able to start conflicts on a larger scale. She hungers for power and will use any mortal to achieve it.

The Keeper

  • Lawful Good
  • Goddess of those that are lost, and bringing them home
  • Symbol: Gem in a Circle
  • A relatively new goddess, the Keeper is not widely known. Through diligent work of her followers, her name has started to spread on the Tempest Shore. With her power still limited, she still tries her best to give comfort to those that are lost. As of now, most of her power flows through the Paladin Halla Gemkeeper, and her wife, Evalah.

Lava'zia

  • Neutral
  • Messenger of the Upper Realm
  • Symbol: Winged Scroll
  • Domain: Any
  • Lava'zia has been created by Vash'run to stand by her side, and is often used as a messenger between realms, not just for one goddess. She is an imposing, but not threatening messenger to those mortal races, although she is not always happy with that task. She often reveals herself to those with imperfections, who are not what they are supposed to be according to society, their parents, or other authority figures. She usually gives powers to others in secret, without her patron knowing.

Meno'va

  • Chaotic Good
  • Kindness. The little things in the world that bring happiness.
  • Meno'vas followers famously use a holy symbol with nothing on it to show that kindness does not need anything in return
  • Domain: Life, Light, Trickery
  • Life is full of opposites, and when Shah was created, so was Meno'va. Keeping life in balance she encourages small acts of kindness, believing that those are equally important as grand peace treaties for example. There usually are no large temples dedicated to her, as her followers know that such material possessions are not important.

Patisse

  • Neutral Good
  • God of Pastries and Love, as Love clearly goes through the stomach
  • Symbol: A slice of cake
  • Domain: Good aligned characters
  • Love goes through the stomach. Patisse is a friendly god who simply loves. He adores playing matchmaker, and often roams the material plane in one way or the other. He doesn't see himself as the most powerful force in all the realms, but he believes that love can conquer anything. He has been known to give clerics and certain individuals powers.
  • His Warlock Subclass

Seralia

  • Chaotic Neutral
  • Embodiment of the Sea
  • Symbol: Waves in a circle
  • Domain: Life
  • Water, typically, gives life. But the sea can also have vastly different moods. Lately, Seralia has somewhat been forgotten, her powers diminished by that fact. An old temple of hers is being excavated, but knowledge of her is only known by a few these days. Those that give their trust to the sea completely are rewarded. She is the mother of Water Genasi.

Shivni & Naydrath

  • Lawful Good
  • Twin goddesses of Dragons & Justice
  • Symbol: Infinity Symbol of dragon tails
  • Domain: Any
  • The sisters have long embodied everything good and noble in the world. They often contact mortal dragons to guide and encourage them, although that is not always successful. If there is a dragon that strays from the path of Justice, they will make contact with other mortals to help guide, or annihilate the evildoer.
