Katelrah
Katelrah is the last easily habitable planet in the known universe. For a VERY long time, mankind has kept their watchful eye on both this planet and her mothering star, Heijma. Due to its class, humanity knew that the star, Heijma wouldn't last a very long time, and so it was safe to bet that they needed to act on it fast. This was no easy feat because of the rapid expansion of space-time; mankind knew it needed to place a stable quantum gateway there to quickly access the solar system Katelrah was in. Though it took them quite some time to properly establish a link to the solar system, eventually the humans managed to connect with Katelrah's solar system, and approximately 999,850 years ago, the remaining humans of the universe jumped into Katelrah's system, colonized the planet and began terraforming it and the other surrounding planets so as to have plenty of space to sprawl into.
Katelrah is one of 5 remaining planets orbiting Heijma, and when found, it was only the easiest habitable planet, originally being a frozen iceball of desolation, once inhospitable to mankind thousands of aeons ago before the present era. Within one year of living on the planet, and with advanced technology beyond that which had ever been seen, the humans made what was permanently frozen and lifeless, into a moderately cool and pleasant world, ripe for life. Now Katelrah is hope to many species of plants, animals, and insects from planets as ancient as Earth, and as young as Galera, humanities second to last home.
Geography
Katelrah has been terraformed into more of a mildly cool planet, with colder environment plant and wildlife. Towards the poles of Katelrah are still nothing much more than desolate cold wilderness, but, the closer to the center you get, the more you will encounter tundra, taiga, swamp, and deciduous biomes. Most people live towards the equator where there is a planet spanning ocean with a handful of islands. The land around the equator is lush in areas not developed by man, and you can occasionally find a few cold rainforests around the equator.
Katelrah is about the size of Earth for point of reference.
Ecosystem
Katelrah is home to just about as many species as humanity could preserve and important from all the different planets they once spanned across before so many stars had died out and took out the planets they once governed. From birds, to fish, to mammals, reptiles, insects, and some species uncategorized by known standard, mankind brought many to populate the thawed out world.
Fauna & Flora
Katelrah is seeded with plant life from many different planets, but due to the type of light, the plants that have taken well to the environment reflect black and green light wavelengths.
Natural Resources
Given the present age of the universe and how Katelrah had formed millions of years ago, the planet is full of many rich and rare metals that span deep into the crust of the planet. Katelrah is also rich with much H2O, carbon, silicate, oxygen, and of course hydrogen. All the building blocks for life exist on Katelrah, they were just mostly frozen over when originally found.
