Nymph
A Fairy which dedicates itself to its home for long enough begins to gain greater control over it’s appearance, while it does not age it is able to take on a more human-like form. Often appearing as a beautiful young man or woman the Nymph will attempt to lure travelers and adventurers to a secluded spot or a Nymphspring to feed upon their life essence and spawn more Sprites.

Genetics and Reproduction
When a Nymph consumes a large amount of Animus it can choose to expel a portion of it from it's body, forming the expelled animus into larval Sprites.
Growth Rate & Stages
Nymphs start their lives as Sprites, accumulating memories and experiences until they are able to develop a degree of self-awareness, becoming Fairies once a sufficient amount of memories have been gathered.
Once fully formed as a Nymph will begin gathering vast quantities of Animus from perished mortals which it lures into it's domain, passing this energy on to it's host forest or collecting it within itself to grow in power. Nymphs which choose to hoard Animus for themselves will eventually manifest as Succubi or Incubi, depending on their preferred prey, while those who choose to pass their power on to the surrounding forest will, given enough time, ascend and become Elementals.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Nymphs are Anivores, feeding on Animus, or life essence. Significant debate exists as to whether or not Nymps should be classified as nature spirits or demons as their methods of predation and consumption closely mirror their Succubus descendants. When a Nymph kills a mortal being, or a mortal being perishes within it's vicinity it can absorb the the being’s life essence into itself. Unlike other Anivores like Succubi or Vampires, Nymphs are unable to drain the life force from a target directly, instead needing the target to perish before a soul can be extracted and consumed.

Social Structure
When a Nymph kills a mortal being it can take the being’s life essence into itself, absorbing the creature's power and blossoming new Sprites from its body.
