Dokaspori
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Dokaspori are nearly identical to humans on the inside, but their exterior is enveloped with an alien fungus which produces a chemical known as Sila, which grants enhanced strength and vitality near to the level of the Dokareχ. The alien parasite appears to be symbiotic in the sense that it provides a degree of survivability unknown to humans while leeching off of the human's energy.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Dokaspori are easily able to reproduce, but it is different than humans usually would. They can conceive children in a 'normal' fashion and the child has a strong chance of developing with the fungus from birth rather than gaining it later, leading to a greater integration of the two. The Dokaspori are also able to reproduce in a manner similar to the Dokareχ by infecting other humans with spores to create Dokaspori or seeding their spores into the ground to further produce Dokareχ, although these are usually mutated and are barely capable of surviving.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Dokaspori consume a vast amount of food, usually eating around 5 to 10 times the amount a human would eat due to the fungus.
Additional Information
Social Structure
There is a natural tendency to respect and follow the most physically powerful Dokareχ/Dokaspori in their presence (and sometimes even just a creature), although this is much less than the Dokareχi natural response and can be overturned with only minor difficulty.
Average Intelligence
The Dokaspori seem to have a lowered intelligence due to the Sila in their system, but some scholars believe that their intelligence is still normal and only 'shifted' towards more aggressive subjects.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Dokareχ Fungus
Genetic Ancestor(s)
Average Physique
While still dwarfed by the Dokareχ, the Dokaspori are much larger than humans. On average they stand almost 6 1/2 ft tall, with the older ones growing larger still. Their build puts most human bodybuilders to shame and is physically imposing.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
A fungal presence dominates the physical characteristics of a Dokaspori and usually gives the abhuman a tint and patches of fungal growths, although the color and amount vary from abhuman to abhuman.
