Roran Spy Master

Rora, City of is a powerful city on the Plane of Karenth. They keep their city and continent hidden from the rest of the Displaced in the known world.
Just as they keep their own secrets, Rora wants the secrets which the rest of Karenth has also. They have setup an extensive spy network throughout the known world and have placed spies among most of the major factions, cities, and organizations in the known world.
The regional leaders of spies for Rora are known as Roran spy masters, a term which is not honorific, but earned through years of spying.
A Roran spy master starts out as a trainee and apprentice spy. They study at the Great Roran College of the Mystic Arts as either a mage, linguist, and general scholar and will continue to specialize in the area which they excel at until graduation, at which time they will train at the Rora Castle learning how to live among the gentry and the general population. They study spycraft in all its facets from lockpicking to observation, from social engineering to scaling walls, from cartography to stealth, and any number of other areas.
The few students who pass through unscathed, or mostly unscathed go on to apprentice with spies and relocate into other cities to practice, or learn to hunt spies in Rora.
The best spies take on many contacts and work with other spies eventually leading to the level of Roran Spy Master. There are a handful of such individuals at any given time. The most notable spy master is Aillianna Rora who works in Grayton's Lot.
