Nethen Council Building

The Nethen Council Building is the location of the central government of the Nethen populace, and the location where the Nethen Council resides.
The building is made of white stone, purified and strengthened with Nethen Magic. It is dome shaped with several large domed and cubical out buildings of various sizes. Fifteen tours surround the campus and emit purple beams of light around the permiter of the campus at the very top of the towers, all of which are taller than the top of the domed council building.
The buildings around the council building are often torn down and rebuilt with new buildings when needed. Their size and purpose varies and are rarely reused, instead being rebuilt to suit any new purpose, or replaced with a park or garden.
The structure was built over ten thousand years ago, so it is relatively new by Nethen standards. It is a large structure, with the central council chambers capable of holding several hundred members comfortably, along with audience seating in the tens of thousands. In addition there are offices for 800 council members, even though there are currently only 57 standing members. Each of these offices also have large labs for research, in addition to large labs, scattered throughout the campus, for colaboration.
The Nethen Council Building Campus was newly built about 10,000 years ago when the Nethen moved to the new part of the world. It was redesigned to meet the needs at the time, and still suits the populace and Council today. It should be noted that the council has considered rebuilding the structure due to it being so large, but at this time the resources are not there to start over, and it would take a great deal of time to do so.
