Karathos

Karathos is an ancient and magical world teeming with races of all shapes and sizes. From everyday humans, to the noble Houndlings, to the monastic and mysterious Xinshen, every corner of the globe has its own people, cultures, and beliefs.   There are three main categories of races: The Common races, such as elves, dwarves, humans, etc. The Beastmen, who vary from reptiles, birds, cats and dogs each with a more powerful Primal variant. The Exotic Races, these races are woven deep into the mysterious past of this world and are seldom seen by the common folk.   Karathos utilizes materials from the Core savage worlds rule book, as well as the fantasy and horror companions. I created this setting for an rpg I wanted to run and for possible short stories/novels later on. I always found character creation to be one of the most fun parts of a role playing game and wanted to give players as many choices as they wanted. almost all of the races in karathos are highly customizable and i have worked hard to make each feel like they play an integral role to how the world works.
