Leaders

Gentling communities do not typically require leadership. Each individual works where they are needed, according to their abilities. Arguments are handled by individuals, or by groups in a "town square" setting where disagreements are discussed and solutions found by suggestions of compromise. Since Gentlings can feel each other's feelings and overall sense of well-being, they are extremely understanding of one another and serious disagreements do not occur often.
There has not been another time in recorded Gentling history when they have been threatened by another creature, or disease to the degree that they would have different enough opinions as to require leadership.
The closest thing to leadership in the past would have been organizers, those who keep track of what needs to be done where and sends workers where needed. Since Gentlings are fond of writing and drawing, their records are well kept, and the job of organizer tends to be transitional. Organizers are usually those who have been injured, are in the last stages of pregnancy, elderly or ill who's job would otherwise be something more physical.
The Gents who become leaders in this instance are those who happen to be working as organizers, as well as medical and philosophical workers who feel strongly that they have something to offer.

Structure

There is no structure at the onset. It is just a group of Gentlings who recognize that some kind of leadership is needed in this moment, and come together in an attempt to create such a thing.

Public Agenda

Initially created to calm the population, and find a cure for Energy Seep. Once the presence of Wallomites is discovered, they must figure out how to capture and relocate, drive off, or kill the intruders, whilst educating the rest of the Gentlings about what is going on and preventing widespread panic.
