While each of the Three [nouns] has its own common tongue, Triadic is the language of those who travel the [Great Sea. Developed by traders and ambassadors, Triadic is a combination of bits and pieces of every major sea-side tongue in the Three [nouns]. Both individual words and phrases from some languages were blended together with chunks of rules from others until this new language was formed. Due to its widespread roots, even those not versed in the language can still catch the semblance of meaning; as long as they know one of the [noun] commons, that is. Triadic was formed around the Great Sea, and as such those further inland will have a harder time with it.
