The Keepers of Magic

The Keepers of Magic are run by the top family known as the Andersons. The family goes back to the very beginning when the world of Kalimar was first created. They have a bloodline going back to where their magic has never been diluted by time and blood. The very first Anderson was Jonathan Anderson. He was the first person to develop true magical talent and he was carefully watched by the gods of the world until they left but by the time they left a thousand years after he was born he already had grandchildren. After Alexander had married at the age of twenty one years old he had written down everything he knew of magic and made sure to teach his wife everything he knew as well as writing it all down so that future generations could keep the knowledge there and during his time alive he experimented by killing people he hated because they treated him badly so he went around slowly killing them with his magic, all the while knowing he might be tainted because of how murder might taint the soul and cause the magic to be less effective but he never encountered this issue because, as he wrote down in his journal, "He didn't feel pity, shame, or anything that other people seemed to show when they did anything wrong" which would go to show he was a sociopath/ psychopath and not worry about what other people think or do.
Over time the family of the Andersons became famous for being the only people who could use magic at full potency no matter what they did or no matter how terrible their actions were and so they provided this information with the other people who could use magic and so everyone decided to try to live life by the was Jonathan Anderson did but no matter how hard they tried they just couldn't do it, so it was at this point in time, when the War of the Magi was in full swing, that the Andersons looked at the mages and took over from there since the regular mages were doing a great job but it wasn't enough, so then the Anderson family, at thatt time there were only four direct relatives, but the four relatives stood side by side as they used their magic to kill the warriors that had primarily feared them for their powers and so they were the ones who brought and kept magic back to the present day. Nowadays the family still exists and they keep the journal of Johnathan Anderson kept safe in the Library of Kolon waiting for another war so they can have their time to shine, but currently they are the primary people in charge of the continent of Loniar.

Structure

The oldest mother or father is at the top, the next oldest, then at the bottom of the ladder are the people that they rule over which is everyone.

Public Agenda

Their goal is to keep the peace in their kingdom while there is no war going on as well as discovering new powerful ways to make their magic better than everyone elses.

They are in possession of considerable wealth, the Library of Kolon, and so much more as they are the rulers of this land.

Mythology & Lore

The teachings of Kindo, Sarah, and Koshin include how to create and control magic for others to use it as they were able to as well as teaching everyone everything they know about physics, math, reading, writing, and everything else that they knew.

Divine Origins

This religion came from the creation of life on the planet as this planet was destroyed many years before the gods showed up and restored the planet to it's glory as well as creating the being that now inhabit the planet which leads to how the religion got started and everything that this group learned in future years came from Johnathan Andersons notebook which he made sure to write in.

Cosmological Views

According to the religion this world was created when each of the three gods took it upon themselves to do certain acts such as when Koshin, the eldest, took it upon himself to move the planet away from the sun so things could grow back, Sarah was responsible for using the life energy of the planet to create trees, grass, and everything else needed on the planet, while Kindo created the water and things to drink.
