Conservatoire uniform

Members of the Conservatoire wear a uniform to demonstrate their level.
The basic items are a pair of black trousers, and a v-neck three-quarter length sleeve tunic. The colour of the tunic indicates what level the member is within the organisation.

Tunic colours

• Grand Master - ice blue
• Lead Instrumentalist & Lead Conductor - sky blue
• Esteemed Master - yellow-green
• Master - turquoise
• Sectional - khaki
• Trainee - dark green
• Student - navy

The higher levels (Esteemed Master and up) also have a ceremonial jacket with tails.

Insignia

On the right breast each tunic has the insignis for the section each member is in. These are a stylised form of the instrument themselves.
