Payment & Reimbursement
Typically Curators are paid depending on the information they bring back to the Stacks. There is, of course, money for expenses and travel. So a slow Curator, someone who travels maybe once or twice a year is usually paid 100 kings per job unless they bring back information that is new or rare.
Someone who travels 4-6 times a year is probably bringing back lots of average information but the quantity puts them in the 150-250 kings range.
Other Benefits
Being part of the Stacks gets you into large events where people want there to be a record.
