The Wandering Giant
Well, if you don't stay for the food, you will stay for Sheira!
The Wandering Giant can be found on Sorin's market, one of the busiest districts in Trisza, and can be easily be recognized by it's bright exterior. The large inn is run by Sheira Wildbush, a short human with a presence that can command the whole floor if need be. Sheira can be recognized by her bushy blond hair that tends to go everywhere and her enthusiastic, high pitched chatter.
The inn is open to anyone and is very affordable, making it the perfect place for traders and adventurers to stay the night, and some more. This results in a very fun atmosphere in the common room, with lots of games being played and stories being told, with Sheira often in the middle of these conversations. There are almost always musicians playing on the stage, adding to the lively feel.
History
The inn was founded in 5373 AS by Sheira's mother as a means of offering respite to tired or sick travelers. At first the inn was just a small one story building located in the upper slums. The ground floor had a main room with a couple of beds and some tables with two separate rooms connected to it, one of which was the kitchen and the other one was the living quarters of family Wildbush.
While it has always been a place to stay, it hasn't always been the bustling inn it is now. Over the years there were more and more patrons, attracted to the great hospitality and the building started to feel cramped, with travelers often preferring to sleep on the floor instead of finding a different place. After 34 years, in 5407 AS, Sheira was ready to take over the inn, she had seen the vision of what the inn could become and set out to make the inn bigger and better. She found the tallest building, she could afford on Sorin's market and started version two of the Wandering Giant.
Sheira threw every inch of herself into the building, making it fully her own. She, naturally, adopted her mother's hospitality and with the help of the existing patrons, it didn't take long for the Wandering Giant to become a great success.
Over the years a lot of things have happened within the walls of the inn and Sheira is always willing to talk about the weird things that she has witnessed. According to her, there have been multiple proposals asked and baby's born. In various rooms scorch marks can be found from experiments gone wrong and part of the second floor and the front facade has been exploded by a wizard who got a bit distracted when copying spells. Once Sheira had to help capture about ten creatures when an animal trader had lost control of them after drinking too much.
Architecture
The Wandering Giant is a four story high building on the east side of Sorin's market. The facade is painted a bright red, that is slowly starting to fade and come off a bit, but still enough to gather the attention as the other store fronts that tend to be less bright red. Above the wooden door is a big wooden sign with "The Wandering Giant" written on it in blue paint with a crude picture of a giant holding a big club next to it. Each story has multiple windows, each with thin crossbeams, dividing the window in smaller panes.
Entering through the main door will reveal the big common room. The big open space is lined with walls that hold various colorful paintings of all kinds of landscapes and animals. The colors and styles changes drastically between parts, but overall each piece seems to flow into the others as a natural continuation of the overall picture. The ceiling also holds a large painting, but this one depicts the map of the entire country with various points of interest marked in colorful depictions. Different cities have details like other inns or shops that are worth visiting and sometimes there are even names written next to certain spots.
The floor is filled with various size tables and chairs. On the right side there is a stage that can be used for playing music and on the opposite side of the room there are stairs leading to the floor above. On the far wall there are two doors, the right one is only a half door that can swing freely, revealing a kitchen. The left door is closed and locked, leading to the living quarters of Sheira. Between the two doors is a large, but simple depiction of the continent, not only showing Kaigan, but also the countries surrounding it. The map has some simplistic drawn details like mountains and forests on it and a lot of tiny colorful dots, mainly concentrated on cities or towns. In front of the map is a large bar, holding various taps.
The upper floors are just as colorful as the ground floor. The walls are lined with pictures depicting various myths and tales commonly told. The rooms vary from single rooms to big sleeping quarters with multiple bunk beds, but every room is painted in a certain color scheme which includes painted beds, floors and ceilings. The general washrooms that can be found on every floor hold underwater scenes, both real and mystical.

Food
In general the food that is served is very good. It almost always complies with what is in season and Sheira likes to get the freshest ingredients when possible. She prides herself in the ability to make food that tastes like different regions and often gets comments about how the food tastes just like it would at home.
If her patrons are asked about the best food served in the Wandering Giant, it is almost unanimously agreed to be the free dessert that Sheira offers after dinner. The desserts range from puddings to cakes or cookies and everything in between, freshly home baked every day.
